Christy Price began her singing career in church at the age of 5. Throughout high school, she sang in her church’s youth ensemble and also on the praise and worship team. After high school, she attended Lee University where she received her Bachelors Degree in Music. During her four years at Lee, she performed with the awesomely talented Campus Choir and also with Choral Union. She was chosen to lead the alto section of Campus Choir and to start and direct a Ladies Ensemble.

Christy has performed at parties, coffeehouses, weddings, funerals, nursing homes and prisons. Prior to joining Sweet Georgia Sound she was a vocalist with the UnumProvident Big Band for 8 years. She currently sings on her church’s praise and worship team.  She has also sang and with the classical performing group, Choral Arts of Chattanooga, for 10 years.  She resides in Chattanooga with her husband and two young children.
